Recreation Registration
Registration Deadline is 01/31/2024
Spring 2024 starts with first practices (U8 and U10) the week of April 15, 2024, first Saturday (U6, U8 and U10) is April 20, 2024. The last date is June 15, 2024.
Recreation (Intramural) Soccer is for Kids 4 years old through 4th grade. There are 2 separate sessions, Fall and Spring. The program is currently run on fields generously donated by: Community at Brookmeade, 6 Mountain Laurel Lane, Rhinebeck
- U6 (under 6)
- Includes children from 4 years old through Kindergarten (even if they are 6)
- Saturday Mornings ONLY
- U8 (under 8)
- For 1st and 2nd Graders (even if they are 8)
- Tuesday or Thursday Practice, Saturday Morning Games
- U10 (under 10)
- For 3rd and 4th Graders (even if they are 10)
- Tuesday or Thursday Practice, Saturday Morning Games
Each session runs for 8 Saturdays. Exact Dates change year to year. Generally, the fall session starts mid-September, skips Indigenous Peoples Day weekend and the spring session starts early/mid-April, skips Easter weekend and Memorial Day weekend.
Fees for each session during the 2023-2024 Season:
- $72 For U6 (no other discounts apply *except coach discount*)
- $120 For the first child U8 or U10
- $100 Each additional child U8 or U10
- 50% Coach discount (for a player whose parent/guardian is coaching)
- $20 Late fee (for anyone registering after the deadline, based on availability)
- Bi-weekly professional training is included in the fees
*If registration fees cause a significant barrier, RSL can offer financial assistance to fulfill our mission of providing opportunities to all local youths interested in soccer. Please email registrar.rsl@gmail.com
Coaches!
The league is 100% parent run and our parent-coaches are a vital part of our organization. The more coaches we have, the more teams we can field. Each team has one coach and at least one assistant coach. If you are still learning the sport of soccer, don’t worry, our team will provide teaching, recommended practice drills are more.
