Tryouts take place in May for the following Fall/Spring season and registration is in July
Travel Soccer plays one season which includes both Fall and Spring sessions. All players must tryout in the Spring and receive an invitation to join the team for the following Fall/Spring season. Each session runs for 10 weeks - Practices are usually two days a week, based on the coach’s schedule, and games are held on Sundays. (Exact start dates are set by the parent league, HVYSL.) Generally, the fall session starts mid-September and skips Indigenous Peoples Day weekend, while the spring session starts early/mid-April and skips Easter weekend and Memorial Day weekend.
Practices and home games are held on the turf field at Starr Park in Rhinebeck, located at 42 Traver Lane in Rhinebeck (Directions).
Up to 100% Coaching Discount for Head Coaches; 50% for Assistant Coaches!!
RSC is 100% parent run and our parent-coaches are a vital part of our organization. The more coaches we have, the more teams we can field. Each travel team needs one head coach and at least one assistant coach/team manager. If you are still learning the sport of soccer, don’t worry, our team will provide training, recommended practice drills, and more.
Players whose parents serve as head coach can enjoy up to a 100% discount on all registration fees, while assistant coaches receive up to a 50% discount.
Travel Soccer Information
Generally for players 8 years and older, depending on the interest level for the age group.
The teams are created by birth year, regardless of grade
Practices are usually 2 days a week, based on the coach’s schedule
Games are Sunday, and scheduled by the parent league, HVYSL

Travel fees for the 2024-2025 Season:
$390.00 paid once, in Fall for the full year for all ages
Uniforms are not included and while costs vary year-to-year, please plan for approximately $95 in additional cost
