General Questions

Where do the teams play?

Field locations vary by age/team. For a full list of fields, click here.

What time are games?

Rec games are held Saturday mornings, generally at either 9:00 or 10:30am. Travel game schedules are set by the league, so times will vary, but games are held on Sundays.

What are the costs?

Costs vary by level. For the 2024/2025 season, Recreation (U6, U8, & U10) fees are $77.00 for one session, or $154.00 for the full year. Travel fees are paid annually in the fall, and are $390.00, plus additional fees of approximately $95.00 will be charged for travel uniforms.

How do I register?

Is there a late fee if I miss the deadline to register my child?

Yes, a $20.00 late fee will be assessed for registrations received after the deadline. Note that registration is not guaranteed past the deadline.

Is there financial assistance available?

Yes. If registration fees cause undue financial hardship, please email registrar.rsl@gmail.com for information on financial assistance.

Are there discounts available for children of coaches?

Yes! RSC is 100% parent run and our parent-coaches are a vital part of our organization. The more coaches we have, the more teams we can field. Players whose parents serve as head coach for enjoy up to 50% off their registration fees, and can earn up to a 100% discount on fees. If you're interested in becoming a coach, please email president@rhinebecksoccer.org.

Is training available to parent coaches?

If you are still learning the sport of soccer but want to get involved, don’t worry, our team will provide training, recommended practice drills, and more.

I don't want to coach, but I want to get involved in other ways. How can I help?

RSC is always in need of administrative, operational, communications, and fundraising volunteers to help support our mission and manage the league. If you're interested in helping out, please email president@rhinebecksoccer.org.

How often does the Rhinebeck Soccer Club Board meet? Can I attend as a non-board member?

The Rhinebeck Soccer Club Board has four regular meetings each year, typically in December, March, June, and August. If you wish to attend a meeting, please contact the President (at president@rhinebecksoccer.org) at least two weeks in advance of any meeting for permission to attend.

Travel Questions

When does the season start?

Dates are set by HVYSL but generally, the season begins the first weekend of September (Fall season) and the first weekend of April (Spring season, often dependent on Easter Sunday). We will post them here as soon as they are made available

When do we get the schedule?

The schedule is set by HVYSL. They are typically made available about a week before the start of the season.

When will we find out about practice days?

Your coaches will send this information to you as soon as they can.  As volunteers, they too are balancing family and work calendars.

Recreation Questions

When does the season start?

The season dates are shown at registration (if available) and also available here.  There is no soccer on Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend, Easter Weekend or Memorial Day Weekend.

When do we get the schedule?

Once we get the volunteer coaches confirmed and teams set, we can create the calendar. You will get an email with a link and can also find the information here.

When will we find out about practice days?
